In my work I question my personality and make my doubts discussable. I wonder how many similar experiences people have. If freedom means not having to make decisions. If you can choose to see things differently. If you can define someone by his actions. And, if it is not you're actions that make you you, why do you do them?
I question the self. Others can define us so easily, why is it not that clearly traced out for ourselves? To develop this research it is obvious to take myself as a starting point. I want to show that one's own appearance isn't always easy to experience clearly, without myself being the specific subject of my work.
The self relates itself to control and freedom, the individual, reflection and perception, philosophy, and the self portrait. These themes are represented in my work.
